Association for Psychosocial Support and Readjustment to Life

LİMON is an association formed by experts and volunteers working in the field under the leadership of Asiye Kay after the February 06, 2023 earthquake. It is a non-governmental organization established to provide psychological support to earthquake survivors who lost their children, spouses, parents, relatives, homes, all their savings, memories and memories, and to contribute to their readjustment to life after this earthquake that left deep and devastating traces in Turkey and affected millions of people. Like other earthquakes, the February 6 earthquake was a turning point where we realized how great a luxury it is to be able to easily provide our most basic needs in our daily lives. Limon completed its preparations immediately after the earthquake and started its activities as a social solidarity platform on March 03, 2023 and became an association on May 10, 2023. 11 Limon, which wants to provide psychosocial support in our city, is supported by many people working in different professions and institutions in many parts of Turkey and the world.

Our support network is getting stronger every day with the participation of volunteer psychiatrists, psychological counselors, psychologists and clinical psychologists from different fields.

The meaning of life is found by adding value to the lives of others.

Why Limon?

The lemon tree, which turns its face to the sun, has found its place in Anatolian lands with its smell, taste and color; the lemon tree, which can keep its seed, flower, leaf and fruit on it at the same time, symbolizes freshness, freshness, healing and the cycle of life. Our association, which chose the lemon symbol to give hope to the people living in the lands where it grows, aims to be a sustainable social solidarity platform.

On the one hand, Limon provides direct psychosocial support through volunteers, and on the other hand, it fulfills the task of providing access and communication by matching those in need with aid lovers.

Our Mission

Limon, which set out with the goal of solidarity after the earthquake, aims to meet the basic needs observed while providing psychosocial support.
